Dean Nakagawa

Since 2024, Dean has served as Chief Investment Officer of MC Digital Infrastructure, where he is responsible for the company’s U.S. data center investment strategy, the origination and structuring of development projects, joint ventures and co-investments with strategic partners including Digital Realty, and the creation and distribution of investment opportunities for Japanese institutional investors. In particular, Dean is focused on developing business opportunities that combine data center infrastructure with power and energy capabilities. During his career at Mitsubishi Corporation, Dean has been involved in energy solutions businesses with electric utilities, the origination of income-producing real estate developments for REITs and private funds, the creation of investment opportunities for Japanese investors in overseas real estate developments, and cross-functional business planning and execution initiatives. Dean currently leads the origination and execution of U.S. data center investments through an integrated approach encompassing energy and power, infrastructure development, and capital strategy. Dean earned a B.A. in Urban Engineering from the University of Tokyo and an M.B.A. from the University of Navarra in Barcelona, Spain.
